Travel to Orlando and Try Some Orlando Florida Golf Courses that aren’t the Miniature Kind
If you are a golfing fanatic, here are some of the Orlando Florida golf courses you might want to try out on your next Orlando vacation. I have not tried them out myself because I personally only play miniature golf, but I’ve decided to do a little research and see where the golfers around here like to play. Just in case I decide to take up the sport. Which I might.
The first one I have run across a few times in my research is called Royal St. Cloud Golf Links. Apparently that is the name of the course, and I am not sure why it’s called “Links.” According to their website you will get the “royal treatment” at this golf course. There are no houses, no time shares, etc., only people playing golf. They also have a money-back guarantee if you don’t like the place. Sounds good to me. They also mention they feature gorgeous stonework, so sounds like it’s a nice-looking course. I took a look around the forums and this course is well liked and is said to be very good and very affordable.
Another course people seem to like a lot is Osprey Ridge at Disney which is said by many to be the best of the Disney courses but on the expensive side. However, if money is no object, give it a try. I will warn you that some folks mention that the Disney courses are overrated though.
A lot of people feel one of the very best public Orlando Florida golf courses is Orange County National. In perusing the forums I see that name come up a lot. They also have a lot of “best of this” and “best of that” on their website. Some comments I’ve found about the Panther Lake course, one of the courses available at Orange County National, mention it is an excellent golf course with a real nice clubhouse and the course is in awesome shape. Many seem to think this is the best golf course of all in Orlando.
I’ll leave that up to you golfing people out there. I’m sticking with the mini golf for now.
