Spring Break Orlando – Florida for Spring Break?

Well it’s that time of the year, time to start thinking about where to go and what to do for spring break. Orlando should be on your short list of places to go for this year’s spring break.

First of all, Orlando is of course centrally located in the state so if you visit here you are right in the middle of tons of things you can do. There are many beaches you can visit like Cocoa Beach, New Smyrna Beach, Daytona Beach, and Ormond Beach, or you can even drive over to the gulf coast and check out those beaches.

If you are looking for clubs, Orlando has plenty! I recommend City Walk at Universal. There’s a huge movie theater and plenty of entertainment in the clubs such as the Red Coconut Club, Pat O’Brien’s, The Groove, and Hard Rock Live. You’ll love The Groove where you can dance the night away to the music of the 70s and 80s as well as alternative. Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville has a dining room inspired by one of his favorite south Florida waterfront concerts, and there are 3 bars called the Land Shark Bar, the Volcano Bar, and 12 Volt Bar where you can get delicious drinks. I personally recommend the pina coladas. But of course you have to have a margarita! And naturally you will hear lots of Jimmy Buffet tunes.

Pat O’Brien’s is a dueling piano bar. Lots of fun! You can also find the Blue Man Group here. So you could spend every night at City Walk and still not run out of things to do.

Also during your spring break visit you can spend the day at a water park or a theme park. After all, what is a trip to Orlando without visiting a theme park? Downtown Disney also offers plenty to do, and you’ll find the House of Blues there as well.

And to cool off, there are plenty of water parks where you can spend the day including the new and really amazing Aquatica at Sea World.

So I don’t think you can go wrong with spring break Orlando this year.
