So what is there to do? Well, you can visit Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando and just walk around the lake and people watch. There are also concerts held sometimes in their outside theater which you can listen to.

Hiking is another great free activity that can be a lot of fun. You can visit the Ocala National Forest or one of the state parks like Lake Louisa State Park which is located in Clermont, not too far from Orlando.

Swimming is always popular, especially in the hot summer months. You can go to one of the springs like Blue Spring State Park or Wekiva Springs. You’ll have to pay a small entrance fee but it isn’t very high. At these parks you can usually swim, snorkel, or rent a tube and go tubing for another small fee. Or bring your own tube if you have one. The springs are nice and cool, you’ll love it. They remain the same temperature year round, about 72 degrees. So no matter when you go the water will feel wonderful.

Harry P Leu Gardens is another place you can visit very inexpensively. Also the Fort Christmas Historical Museum and Park, Old Town is another popular choice, you can spend a day walking around, looking in the shops, and browsing.
