Orlando Florida Food – How is the Food at the Dinner Shows in Orlando Florida?

Talking about Orlando Florida food, you have to wonder about the food at the dinner shows in Orlando. I mean, they can be really expensive, especially for a large family, so the last thing you want to do is pay for one of the dinner shows in Orlando and then go there and find the food to be awful or even mediocre. So how is the food anyway?

First we’ll discuss my favorite dinner show, Medieval Times. It’s actually located in Kissimmee which is not technically in Orlando, but people always refer to it as in the Orlando area. I heartily recommend this show. The food is wonderful and the show is great. I’ve been there many times and never got anything but excellent food. You get soup, bread, roast chicken, spareribs, potato, and dessert which is an apple pie pastry. It’s all very good, you’ll love it. If you happen to be having a birthday in the month you are going, or if anyone in your party is, tell them and you’ll get in free. Also look online for the specials they may be having at the time you will be there. There are always ways to save money at the dinner shows. You should never pay full price.

Arabian Nights is another great dinner show. You will of course see many beautiful horses. For your meal you will get prime rib, potatoes, vegetable, and a dessert. I saw this show years ago but I can’t honestly remember it too well. But I will say one thing, if the food had been awful I would remember that so I’m sure it was fine. I probably would have been back but my son loves Medieval Times so we always end up going there instead. I’m sure you will enjoy Arabian Nights.

Another popular show is the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, which was recently voted best dinner show/theater by Florida Monthly Magazine. I have never been here and I have never read this magazine, so not sure if this is of great significance, but something to think about anyway. The show sounds entertaining, and the food is garden salad or creamy vegetable soup, roast chicken, pork tenderloin, or a seafood medley, Caribbean rice or red potatoes, and an apple cobbler a la mode or Mr. Magee’s favorite dessert (they don’t mention what this is). So it sounds like the food is very good and a bonus is you get a choice. The other two shows do not give you any choices, so you just take what they give you. Fortunately, what they give you is tasty!

I’ve been to a few other shows including the Dolly Parton show that closed, and another one that I can’t remember the name of, and honestly I have never had bad food that I recall. I usually do remember these things so I think you are safe to assume the Orlando Florida food at the dinner shows is pretty darn good and, along with the show, probably worth the money. But do try to find some discounts, because they are around.
