Orlando Florida Attractions – What is the Best Theme Park in Orlando?

There are many Orlando Florida attractions to choose from, that’s for sure. So just what is the best theme park in Orlando?

Well it depends. There are many who would say that Walt Disney World is without a doubt the best theme park. And for some that is absolutely true. Sometimes I agree with that and sometimes I don’t. There are definitely a lot of choices of places to go when you talk about Disney. There is the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom as well as Downtown Disney. So you have a wide variety of choices and I love that. Within the parks there are a lot of very excellent rides and shows that you really shouldn’t miss. Some that come to mind are Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Hall of Presidents, Haunted Mansion, Splash Mountain, Dinosaur over at Animal Kingdom, World Showcase at Epcot, and much more than I can even think of at the moment.

And Downtown Disney has Cirque du Soleil La Nouba and Disney Quest as well as tons of shops and other restaurants such as the Rainforest Cafe. So as I said, many would argue this is the best theme park.

Then there is Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I don’t think I have ever felt that Universal was the best park but many times I think of Islands of Adventure as the best park. It’s just not as big as Disney of course but it’s packed with fun things to do and fun rides. There is the Incredible Hulk coaster which you should experience if you love coasters, the Dueling Dragons coasters, and of course the Spiderman ride which is definitely a must-do ride.

Then there is Sea World which is totally different and unique, and also Aquatica, the new water park that is over there. So you could easily spend a couple of days visiting Sea World and the water park. There are some great shows over there with the dolphins, otters, and killer whales, and even a very nice floorless rollercoaster, Kraken.

So as Orlando Florida attractions go, what is the best theme park? It depends on you and what type of park you like. I say try them all and then decide.

Oh and don’t forget Busch Gardens. It’s not technically in Orlando but it’s not too far and well worth the drive.
