Don’t Forget the Mount Dora Craft Festival Coming Up on October 24th and 25th

I love the Mount Dora Craft Festival and I never miss it. Or, well, I try never to miss it. It’s coming up soon so do not miss it. The dates are Saturday and Sunday, the 24th and 25th of October.

If you want to find some GREAT things to buy for Christmas presents this year, the craft festival is the place to go. Over the years I have found the most unique and coolest stuff there. Also, you can find some really neat Christmas ornaments. I buy several every year and have quite the collection.

The best thing to do is, once you arrive, try to walk down each street in order so that you can keep up with what you have seen and what you still need to look at. You will not want to miss any streets because there are great booths scattered all over the place.

You will see some of the same vendors that are normally there from year to year, and you will also find new ones. I have this really cool bird that I bought last year and I want to buy more so I am really hoping the back again.

There will be everything from jewelry to polymer clay, paintings, sculpture, outdoor furniture, sprinklers, and of course those mysterious “sticks” that I always see everyone with. I never do understand why people go to art and craft shows to buy sticks!

Last year I bought salt lamps there and I don’t recommend them. I used them for a long time and never got any benefit. I’m not saying they don’t work, but if you want one of those, buy elsewhere for a lot less money.

Oh don’t forget the kettle corn! I love that stuff and am going to stock up. I might get a funnel cake too, they are so good.

Anyway, if you are a fan of the Mount Dora Craft Festival, mark your calendar!
