Disney Travel Orlando – What are the Must-See Attractions at Disney World Orlando?
Well you are here in Orlando or you are planning to be here and Disney travel Orlando is next on the list. So what are the must-see attractions at Disney World? Those rides or shows that shouldn’t be missed.
There are a lot of attractions you really should make sure to see, and there are 4 parks, so we will only discuss the must-see shows or rides at Magic Kingdom and Epcot at this time.
Let’s start with the Magic Kingdom. I know that Space Mountain has been around for a while but I would not want to miss that. I have always loved this ride. It was really scary to me when I was little because it is dark inside, but it’s truly an awesome experience. Don’t miss it!
Also don’t miss Splash Mountain. Oh so fun for kids and adults alike. It’s located in Frontierland over by Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Be aware though that this is one of the most popular rides and there is almost always a long line. Use FastPass if possible.
Speaking of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, it’s another ride you should plan to see. You’ll dip and turn through mountains and caverns like in the old west. Children must be 40 inches tall to ride. As coasters go it is rather mild but really a lot of fun.
Pirates of the Caribbean over in Adventureland is a really fun ride and now features Captain Jack Sparrow. Definitely not to be missed.
Also you will want to see Mickey’s Philharmagic, a 3D movie which is truly magical. Anyone and everyone from the smallest child to the oldest adult will love this treat for the eyes and ears.
Now on to Epcot. What is not to be missed at this park? Well you will first encounter the giant white “geosphere” which is 165 feet in diameter and 16 million pounds. This is Spaceship Earth and an enjoyable ride for everyone. It’s right at the entrance so early in the day there will be a line there but you should never stand in line for this ride. It’s a continuous loading ride and later in the day there will hardly ever be more than a 5-minute wait and it’s usually a walk-on.
Also here you have to visit the countries in the World Showcase and see the live entertainment. There is a lot of good talent in the shows, don’t miss them.
One more thing to add to your list of things that you must see is Soarin’. You’ll go on a sweeping flyover above California. Of note too, this ride is fine for larger guests.
Disney travel Orlando can be an exciting and fun time, but be sure to keep these “must-see” rides on your to-do list.
