City Walk Orlando Florida – Things to do at Universal City Walk Orlando
Visiting City Walk Orlando Florida should be on your to-do list in addition to all your other theme park plans and beach plans. There are plenty of things to do and you can probably even make a day of it just enjoying yourself at Universal City Walk.
First you can grab a Cinnabon (at Cinnabon of course) and then head to Starbucks and get some coffee (bad coffee but I’ll refrain from commenting more at this time). Then there are plenty of places to do some shopping and browsing. The Endangered Species Store is fun, they have a lot of neat nature and animal themed merchandise. I enjoy looking around in here. There is also the Fossil store where you can see a large selection of watches and leather goods, Quiet Flight Surf Shop, Universal Studios Store (naturally), The Island Clothing Store, Fresh Produce (neat clothes in here), and more.
For entertainment, there is much to choose from. Take in a move at the Universal Cineplex 20, see the Blue Man Group, or visit one of the clubs that suit your tastes. There is City Walk’s Rising Star karaoke club, The Red Coconut Club, Pat O’Brien’s dueling piano bar, The Groove which plays 70s and 80s tunes (the best music for dancing), and Jimmy Buffet’s Margaritaville.
For lunch or dinner try Emeril’s, The Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., Hard Rock Cafe, Margaritaville, Bob Marley, Pat O’Brien’s, NBA City (fun place), Latin Quarter, Pastamore Ristorante & Market, or TCBY for some great food.
If you feel like just relaxing, just have a seat outside Margaritaville in the comfy Adirondack chairs and enjoy some people watching and just soak up some sun.
City Walk Orlando Florida is a great place to spend your day or evening even if you aren’t planning to go to Universal or Islands of Adventure.Of course, once you’re there it will be very tempting to just buy a ticket and go ride some rides.
