Weather in Florida

A lot of people would love to visit the Orlando area but are concerned about the weather in Florida. Case in point is my aunt. My mom keeps telling me she wants to come and visit but is waiting for nice weather. She thinks it is too hot here.

Too hot in October? Seriously? Okay, well, yeah, it actually is a bit on the warm side lately. But it’s not that bad. Okay it was bad yesterday because I was at the craft festival and I was sweltering. But right now as I step outside it is quite pleasant. Read more »

We were having lunch at a restaurant at the Winter Garden Village and I always like to visit B&N because where I live we only have Books A Million in either direction. So I like to browse B&N. MiMi’s Cafe in Winter Garden

Today I met my mom for lunch at Mimi’s Cafe in Winter Garden. We’ve been there many times but not lately for some reason. My mom lives in Clermont so I drive over that way often.

When I got to Mimi’s I noticed Longhorn Steakhouse was right next to it and I almost suggested we go there instead. Nothing against Mimi’s, but I always enjoy Longhorn’s. Read more »

Whole Foods Market in Winter Park

Whole Foods Market in Winter Park

Anyone else shop at Whole Foods Market? I admit that I don’t go there as often as I’d like to for a couple of reasons. One is because they are in Winter Park which is not anywhere near where I live, and two, I spend way too much money when I go there. I can hardly ever get out of there for less than $150 and that is for a small bag or two of groceries. Read more »

Yes that is correct. Now is the time to visit Orlando. And I mean right now. As in right this minute. I walked outside just now and the temperature has finally dropped below the 80s.
